ITERA International Energy Company

Despite the current state of international economies, ITERA International Energy Company provides stability and consistent service to its clients. The company started in 1992. Since its inception, it has grown to be a vital provider of gas and oil products, as well as many other things.

The company is a privately owned business, and runs its headquarters in Moscow. Its many efforts to develop gas and oil found in Russian soil have proved extremely successful. It continues to improve its business there.

The company began as a small commodities trading corporation. In 1992, it delivered a shipment of sugar to Turkmenistan. As payment, the Turkmeni government granted the trading group access to the country’s natural gas.

Throughout the next few years, the enterprise grew. It started to sell the Turkmeni gas to Ukraine in 1995. That initiative, an extremely successful one, led the company to start selling natural gases to other countries.

By the late 1990’s, the company’s efforts had led it to become the second largest seller of gas to the Former Soviet Union areas. This growth permitted the company to expand. Now, its priorities have expanded to include more than oil and gas production. The company now involves itself in energy, bioenergy, real estate, civil construction, and more.

The company values the stability of national and international communities. Many of the company’s actions have led to international stability. Since the dissolving of the Soviet Union in 1991, relations between the new countries of that region have been unstable. The company strives to continue building relations between those countries and in Russia.

The US Branch

Its American sister company, ITERA USA, works out of Jacksonville, FL. It has operated there since its inception in 1992. Its enterprises in the United States vary.

The work it accomplishes on American soil is diverse. It operates in Texas, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Alabama, North Carolina, Mississippi, Tennessee, Louisiana, and of course Florida. The American branch of the company focuses on oil and real estate. However, it also works with renewable energy sources and chemical and bioenergy technologies.

In Illinois and Texas, the company produces and processes hydrocarbon materials. Those ventures began in 2003. Five years later, the company began refining bioethanol products in Pennsylvania. The company plans to begin a similar initiative in Louisiana.

It also has been completed projects in the construction field. It continues to be the overseer for the engineering and construction of convenience stores and shopping centers throughout the US. The company’s work in the US, both directly and indirectly, provides employment for hundreds of Americans.

The company’s energy goals in their US work, according to the corporation’s website, is bi-fold. First, it works to reduce reliance on crude oil and petroleum products produced in foreign countries. Secondly, the company strives to develop and paten technology that produces bioethanol and other chemicals.

The company has recently joined with BioEnergy International, LLC and become an equity investor with them. BioEnergy International, a privately run company, develops biorefineries and technologies. These refineries and technologies produce ethanol and specialty chemicals from feedstock and waste biomass.

ITERA’s work with BioEnergy International uses eco-friendly technologies. The companies, together, stand as a forerunner for many progressive ideas in their field. Their focus hones methods to process grain and crops. The crops are then developed into products ranging from plastic to chemicals.

Community Awareness

The company continues to provide jobs and job creation. This is particularly true in Russia, Belarus, and Georgia. The company realizes its economic influence and uses it towards the growth of its community.

Without proper research and precautions, gas production and extraction can be tremendously detrimental to ecosystems. The company ensures that these precautions are set in place. In the Russia, particularly, projects work under protective measures to prevent harm to the environment.

ITERA Energy Company started a new committee in 2003: the Council on Charity and Sponsor activities. The council recognizes charity opportunities and initiates relevant activities. The company’s Flight of Hope project won the distinguished PROBA-IPRA Golden World Award.

Leaders at ITERA International Energy Company

ITERA owes much of its immense success and growth to the determination and willpower of its leaders. Igor Makarov, the Chairman of Board of Directors, studied at Turkmen State University. He then served in the army, where he no-doubt learned leadership tactics he would later employ. Makarov was an avid cyclist in the USSR national cycling team. There, he collected many awards for his sportsmanship and dexterity.

In the late 1980s, Makarov started an enterprise in production and trading. He sharpened his superb leadership capabilities through this venture. This small business later became ITERA International Energy. Makarov has piloted the company since its beginning in 1992.

Makarov, though no longer a competitive cyclist, continues to support cycling teams in Russia. Through his company, he sponsors the Russian Cycling Federation. Over four different teams have benefited from the company’s many sponsorships.

Makarov, through his devoted work at the company, has garnered a variety of awards. His desire to strengthen international economic relations led him to be awarded the Order of Friendship of Peoples. This is in addition to the Honorary Reward “Akinfy Nikitich Demidov” of the International Demidov’s Foundation.

Vladimir Makeev serves as the General Director and Chairman of the Management Board at the company. Makeev started in his career at the Central Scientific Research Institute for Machine Building Technology in the USSR as an engineer.
